PUBLIC NOTIFICATION

Effective January 1, 2026, in accordance with the Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act of Bhutan 2025 and the Income Tax Act 2025, the following statutory changes will apply:
• A 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be levied on all bank charges, fees, and commissions, etc.
• A 10% Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) will be applicable on interest earned from Fixed Deposit accounts.
